Staff Training
Page Overview
Before you get to moderate independently and moderate the server you must go through our staff training program which assess your knowledge of ERLC moderation and determines whether you get to moderate independently or not.
Staff Training Program
After your staff application is accepted you must complete and pass the training program in order to receive full moderation permissions and to moderate independently. You must request a training in the #request-training channel in our Discord server and follow the format pinned. A trained staff instructor will then reach out to you giving you the information you need. We have three parts of the training:
How does it work?
Part 1: You will be asked to join our Melonly so you can participate in the training. You also will be asked a couple of basic questions via direct messages with your staff instructor. Part 2: You will go through some real calls when the server is full and you will respond to them and answer the question / solve the issue. The staff instructor will score you based on your performance and help you if needed.
Can I redo my training?
You must re apply to become a moderator if you'd like to do your training again. Once you fail your training all of your permissions will be taken away from you and you will not have access to staff channels or privileges.
Staff Instructor Role
You get the "Staff Instructor" role once you are a Senior Administrator+. Being a staff instructor means that you must assist in the training process and train new staff members. You must read #training-information before training anyone.
